Its thin battery-chassis keeps the center of gravity low for great handling. The dual HT-39 motors from Cougar's previous range of cars manage to provide an impressive amount of power, though the weight of the car hinders its acceleration compared to more expensive competitors.

The battery array and motors are kept cool and operating safely by an air and liquid combination cooling system - fed by the various large air vents with variable intake flaps to improve aerodynamics.
